Gagliardi Boutique Hotel enjoys a unique position in the heart of Noto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its Baroque architecture in the south east of Sicily. Located in a late 19th century ‘palazzo’, the hotel features a small garden, art gallery, panoramic terrace with outstanding views over the cities’ historical sights and with just 10 rooms maintains the intimate atmosphere of a Sicilian family house.
The guest rooms and suites have refined décor and furnishings, mixing interior design with works of art and home comforts. All the rooms have independent air conditioning/heating, soundproofing, king size bed, en suite shower room, hairdryer, telephone, radio, satellite TV, minibar, safe, and WiFi.

Classic Room (23m2): Overlooking Via Silvio Spaventa, Via Ducezio and the garden, with classic furnishings and contemporary comforts.
Superior Room (28m2): Overlooking Via Silvio Spaventa and Via Ducezio, spacious with classic furnishings and contemporary comforts.
Deluxe Room (36m2): Located between Via Ducezio and the garden, overlooking the garden, secluded location and comfortable interior.
Junior Suites (55m2-60m2): Consisting of a bedroom, open plan living room and bathroom.
Suite (55m2): Composed of a bedroom, living room, two pitchstone bathrooms and private terrace.
The hotel has an assortment of character lounges with a mix of objets d’art and interior design. The first floor, where the guest rooms are situated, the lounge is an art gallery as well as a relaxing place for resting. Also, on the first floor among the rooms, there are al fresco terraces and a winter garden with jasmine, climbing wisteria and furniture. Panoramic Terrace: Sun terrace with a bar, comfortable seating with parasols and stunning view of the late Sicilian baroque architecture of Noto including the Basilica Cathedral of San Nicolò, Area Majoris Ecclesiae, Palazzo Ducezio, Palazzo Trigona, Basilica of San Salvatore, Church of Santa Chiara, Dome of the Church of San Carlo and Madonna dell’Arco up to the former monastery of the Benedictine Nuns.
The Garden: A small and secluded garden with Mediterranean trees and wild plants offering an enchanting place to read a book, have a cup of tea or a glass of wine and to relax after sightseeing.
The Gallery: In winter time the Gallery is transformed into a bar offering drinks and the opportunity to sample typical local products (November – March 10:30am-midnight).
The hotel has a reception offering guests local information and services including breakfast and bar service in the garden and on the terrace, shuttle to the local beach and babysitting (all extra cost). The reception staff can arrange health and beauty treatments, personal trainer and local excursions with guides.
Gagliardi Hotel is situated in the centre of the city of Noto, 36km south west of Syracuse in the south east of Sicily. Noto is famous for its baroque architecture including the reconstructed 18th century cathedral which is opposite Palazzo Ducezio (now the town hall) with the Hall of Mirrors embellished by gilding and stuccos and Palazzo Nicolaci with richly decorated balconies and the 19th century Porta Reale resembling a triumphal arch which marks the entrance to the city.
Part of the Val di Noto UNESCO World Heritage Site in south east Sicily, the city of Noto is situated on two levels, an upper part on the plateau and a lower, newer part, on the slope below built up following the 17th century earthquake. The latter includes palazzi of the nobility and 18th century churches, the architecture combining to create a spectacular 'Baroque stage set'.
The historical sites scattered across the town include the Church of San Francesco, Museo Civico and Piazza XVI Maggio. As well as numerous shops, bars and restaurants, Noto is also home to one of the most visually striking festivals on the island held during the 3rd weekend of May when Via Nicolaci is transformed into a piece of artwork with 16 artists lining the street with their own exquisite petal designs.

The bar terrace is a real feature and ideal for evening drinks. A homemade breakfast is served daily either in the garden on inside during low season.

Car hire recommended for exploring south east Sicily but there is no parking at the hotel.
