The ground floor has bright living room with sliding glass doors leading to the terrace and pool, well equipped kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, a small room with a sofa bed and a shower room.

Accessible via an external staircase, there is a roof terrace with views to the sea and to Mount Cofano.

The villa is equipped with air conditioning, WiFi, satellite TV, DVD and CD players, electric mosquito repellents, hairdryer, highchair and cot.

The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering including electric oven, gas hob, large fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine and iron.

French doors lead to the outside shaded terrace furnished with table, chairs, barbecue and armchairs. This terrace adjoins the deck that surrounds the swimming pool (13m x 5m, depth 1.40m - 2.5m, open 01/04 to 31/10) and there are sun loungers, outside shower, Mediterranean pot plants and palm trees for shade.

The villa is just 700m walk from the beach and there is a beach restaurant nearby and a shopping centre and a couple of pizzerias within 2km. There are further shops, banks and restaurants in Custonaci 4km away and a weekly market in Trapani (18km).

Villa Bellini is good base for visiting many fascinating places such as Erice (18km), Trapani (18km), Marsala (54km), Zingaro Nature Reserve (33km), the archaeological sites of Segesta (40km), and Selinunte (83km) and the Egadi islands can be accessed via boat from the port in Trapani. The beautiful beach of San Vito Lo Capo is 20km away.

Villa Bellini is located close to the beach in Cornino, a small seaside town at the foot of Monte Cofano near Trapani, with just a few shops, pizzerias and restaurants.

The charming town of Trapani in the west of Sicily is 18km away and attracts visitors to its lively old town centre with narrow streets, alleys, squares, baroque buildings, cafes and good restaurants. The medieval village of Erice is 18km up the winding roads or can be reached by cable car to the top of the mountain to explore this beautiful old treasure.

Other places to visit include the ancient temples of Segesta and the route to Marsala which passes the renowned salt plains and their windmills and a fabulous endless stretch of vineyards, that produce the sweet Marsala wine. It is also possible to visit the Egadi Islands with boats departing daily from Trapani port.

San Vito Lo Capo (20km) is famous for its stunning long white sandy beach lapped by turquoise sea on the north western tip of the island. It is a small yet very popular holiday resort in the province of Trapani and boasts a number of bars and trattorias open until late in the summer. San Vito Lo Capo is also favoured by hikers and climbers due to the impressive mountains and caves situated nearby, some of which can be visited on foot or admired from the beach.

Several festivals take place throughout the year, such as the annual Couscous festival in September over the course of a week when top chefs compete to create the best Couscous dish and celebrate the diverse history of Sicilian cuisine.

Lo Zingaro Nature Reserve is 33km away with magnificent clifftop walks up the slopes of Monte Speziale (913m) and encompasses panoramic views, Mediterranean macchia, some 40 different species of bird and some trails down to beautiful deserted coves and beaches.

The city of Trapani is the only major port in western Sicily and therefore has a past riddled with tales of invasion and conquest. During the last century, Trapani has had flourishing tuna fish and salt industries and today the province produces more wine than Chile. The old town has attractive Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque buildings and palazzi and the Museo Nazionale Pepoli, Cattedrale di San Lorenzo and the Palazzo Riccio di Morana are a few of the historical sites that are worth visiting, emphasising the city’s captivating past that is somewhat now hidden behind the more modern buildings that surround it.

The city is famous for its seafood and couscous and from Trapani there are ferries to visit the Egadi Islands as well as Pantelleria, Tunis and Cagliari in south Sardinia. There is a cable car from Trapani to visit the medieval walled mountain town of Erice 750m above sea level.
