The villa offers stunning contemporary accommodation featuring a welcoming interior and tastefully furnished with modern comforts. Arranged on two levels, the ground floor has a large bright living/dining room, fully equipped kitchen and two bedrooms (one of which is accessed from outside), both with en suite shower rooms. On the first floor, also accessible from outside, there is a third bedroom with a panoramic terrace and shower room.
The villa is equipped with air conditioning, heating, WiFi, 3 satellite TV’s, hairdryer, highchair, cot and the kitchen has an electric oven, gas 5-burner hob, microwave, toaster, mixer, 2 kettles, espresso machine, 2 fridges, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and iron.
The well-kept Mediterranean style garden surrounds the villa and being set in a panoramic location, it offers wonderful views over the surrounding landscape to the sea that guests can enjoy from the large, furnished terraces and infinity saltwater pool.
There are 2 gazebos for shade, sun loungers, parasols, outside dining table and chairs, barbecue and external shower.
The saltwater pool is 5m x 12m, depth 1.30m (open 01/03 to 30/11) and there is a jacuzzi area with massage jets.
The nearest supermarket and restaurants are in Seccagrande (2km away) and further supermarkets, shops, banks and restaurants can be found in Ribera 6km away. A cook is available (€200 + receipts).
There is a golf course in Sciacca (12km) as well as scuba diving and there is a tennis court 7km away and horse riding available 17km away.
Located on the south west coast of Sicily, 123km from Palermo airport and 23km east of the seaside town of Sciacca, Villa Camemi is an excellent base for exploring the amazing surrounding area. The nearest beaches are at Seccagrande (2.5km) and Eraclea Minoa (12km) and the nature reserve of Foce del Fiume Platani (8km) and Torre Salsa (17km).
Seccagrande (2km) is a small hamlet near Ribera in the province of Agrigento. The beach is made up of pebbles and sand the the seawater is clear blue. On the seafront there are bars and restaurants to taste the local specialties or for an evening aperitif while admiring the sunset.
Full of charm and history, Ribera (8km) is a medieval village with interesting cultural attractions. The area stands out for the copious production of strawberries, grapes, almonds, olives, fruit, and excellent oranges, exhibited during the annual Orange Festival. There is a weekly market on Thursdays.
The spectacular Realmonte's Scala dei Turchi (30km), the enchanting Valley of the Temples (40km) and Sciacca (23km) are all well worth visiting and also Selinunte Archaeological Park (57km).
Sciacca, renowned for its Carnival in February and ceramic making, is an authentic Sicilian town and fishing port with a selection of café bars, pizzerias, seafood restaurants and shops.
The Valley of the Temples, located just outside of Agrigento, is arguably one of the most beautiful and historically interesting locations in Sicily, characterised by the remains of ten temples dating back to the 5th century BC and the Temple of Concordia being one of the best preserved temples of the Greek civilization today. It became part of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1997 being one of the most outstanding examples of Greater Greece art and architecture, one of the main attractions in Sicily as well as a national monument of Italy.
