Built in 1873 with 71 guest rooms and suites arranged in two buildings and most of which feature a terrace or balcony with beautiful garden, sea or Mount Etna view. The Classic and Superior rooms are located in a separate building 50m from the main hotel building. Deluxe rooms, Junior Suites and Suites are in the main building with stunning sea views. 

All the rooms are equipped with satellite TV, writing desk, en suite bathroom, climate control air conditioning, WiFi and there is a twice daily housekeeping service. Room service is also available 24 hours a day which includes a selection of in-room spa treatments (extra cost).

The Pool Grill is open for lunch (May to September) and offers a selection of freshly prepared light dishes. The Literary Terrace and Bar has a stunning panorama of Mount Etna and the Bay of Naxos, while inside the bar is a Sicilian masterpiece that evokes the magical atmosphere of a 19 ^th century winter garden.

The hotel is set on the hillside in 6 acres of immaculate park-like terraced gardens with a secluded heated swimming pool, poolside bar and Wellness Centre with a sauna, steam bath and there are also massage rooms and a hairdresser (extra cost).
