Mangiabove is a charming old farmhouse just outside Marina di Ragusa on the south east coast of Sicily which has been transformed into a lovely rustic-chic residence with self catering apartments and guest rooms with breakfast served in the common room, with pool overlooking the countryside leading to the sea.

The Accommodation

Mangiabove has 7 units which are individually named and can be arranged as either Studio, 1 or 2 bedroom apartments and Junior Suites (self catering) or as Standard rooms (with breakfast).

They are arranged on the ground and first floor, tastefully furnished in a typical Sicilian contemporary style and have private entrance, well equipped kitchen with microwave, 2 ring hob and fridge, shower room, flat screen TV, air conditioning/heating, safe, hairdryer and extra bed (on request).

Studio Apartment (sleeping 2) on one level, one room with double/twin bed, open plan kitchen, shower room, courtyard terrace.

Junior Suite (sleeping up to 3) detached from the other units, on one level, double bed, living room with kitchen and sofa bed, shower room, private furnished terrace.

2 Bedroom Duplex Self Catering Apartment (sleeping up to 5) ground floor with double/twin bedroom, living room with kitchen and sofa bed, shower room, courtyard terrace overlooking the pine grove.

Please note: breakfast can be provided in the self catering apartments for a supplement.

The family who run Mangiabove is made up of Michele and Emilia and their two sons Ignazio and Enrico who live next door.

It was originally built by their ancestors at the end of the 19^th century but they have transformed it into a lovely rustic-chic residence but maintained the authenticity of the original farmhouse in keeping with the surrounding countryside and a balance between old and new. They are incredibly passionate about their guest house and the local area providing guests with memorable holiday.

It is ideally situated 3km from sandy beaches of Marina di Ragusa and World Heritage historical sites and will suit both couples and families looking to relax and explore the local area. Car hire essential.
